Discover the most beautiful natural stones

from Love Ibiza

Natural stones add a special touch to a piece of jewelry. Each stone has its own unique color, pattern, and character. No two stones are exactly alike, and it is precisely these natural variations that make jewelry featuring natural stones so beautiful.

At Love Ibiza, we use various types of natural stones in our jewelry—from warm red jasper beads in our Moraira Brique necklace and green garnet in our faceted bracelet to dark blue jade and mysterious black onyx in the Javea necklaces.

But what makes these stones so special? Below is an overview of the characteristics of the stones we use at Love Ibiza.

Kyanite | blue and unique

Natural Kyanite

Kyanite is known for its beautiful blue color, which can range from light blue to deep blue. Its name comes from the Greek *kyanos*, meaning blue.
An interesting fact: kyanite does not have the same hardness in all directions. This makes this natural stone particularly interesting.

Jasper | every stone has its own story

Picture Jasper, Dalmatian Jasper, African Turquoise & Red Jasper

Jasper is a versatile natural stone that comes in a vast array of colors and patterns.
The different varieties in our collection clearly demonstrate the diversity of jasper.
Picture Jasper—also known as landscape jasper—features natural patterns reminiscent of mountains, sand dunes, and landscapes.
Dalmatian Jasper—recognizable by its dark spots on a light background. The name naturally refers to the coat of the Dalmatian dog.
Red Jasper—displays warm red, terracotta, and reddish-brown tones. Its color is caused, in part, by iron-bearing minerals.
African Turquoise—despite its name, this is not true turquoise but a form of jasper with a blue-green, turquoise-like appearance.
An interesting fact: with jasper, natural color variations, spots, and patterns are actually part of the charm. This makes every stone unique!

Garnet | more than just red

Orange and green garnet

Garnet is not actually a single type of stone, but an entire group of minerals. Although garnet is often known for its deep red color, it also comes in beautiful orange and green shades.
Did you know that garnet is the traditional birthstone for January?

Tiger's Eye | the stone with a cat's-eye effect

Fuchsia Tiger's Eye

Tiger's eye is recognized by the distinctive silky luster that appears to move across the stone's surface. This is also known as the cat's-eye effect or chatoyancy. Naturally, the stone primarily occurs in golden-brown and brown shades. In the jewelry world, the fuchsia variety is often dyed to achieve its striking pink color.

Rhodonite | pink with character

Natural Rhodonite

Rhodonite is recognizable by its pink to reddish-pink color, often combined with dark veins and patterns.
The name comes from the Greek word *rhodon*, meaning "rose"—a fitting name for this distinctive pink natural stone.

Black Onyx | Timeless and elegant

Black onyx – Black agate

Black onyx is a true classic. Its deep black color gives jewelry a stylish and timeless look.
Onyx belongs to the chalcedony family, making it a relative of other forms of quartz.

Chalcedony | soft, natural tones

Olive-green and light brown chalcedony

Chalcedony is a form of microcrystalline quartz that comes in many different colors.
Our olive-green and light brown chalcedony stones have a soft, natural look and pair perfectly with a warm, earthy jewelry collection.

Jade | a stone with a long history

Dark blue jade

Jade has been a cherished natural stone for thousands of years and is best known for its green hues.
However, jade can also occur in other shades, including blue, green, purple, and white.

Beyond their natural beauty, many natural stones are also associated with specific spiritual meanings. For instance, red jasper is traditionally linked to strength and grounding, rhodonite to love and emotional balance, and tiger's eye to self-confidence and protection.

These meanings stem from traditions and spiritual beliefs and are not scientifically proven. Nevertheless, there is something special about choosing a natural stone that holds personal significance for you.

From kyanite and jade to jasper, onyx, and chalcedony: every natural stone has its own unique color, texture, and story. And perhaps that is the most beautiful aspect of natural stone jewelry: those subtle variations make every piece unique.
